After 16 years of installation, the effectiveness verification shows a reduction in red rust blockage rate from 50.7% to 41.2%, an improvement of 18.7%! Demonstrating the effectiveness of red rust prevention and extending the lifespan of piping.
A follow-up survey was conducted in a condominium in Fukuoka Prefecture, 16 years after the installation of the NMR pipe protector.
Before installation, the joints of the water supply pipes in Rooms A and B were inspected with a fiberscope, revealing red rust blockage rates of 50.7% and 78.2%, respectively, indicating significant progression of red rust blockage and the need for early intervention. Consequently, the NMR pipe protector was installed in the water supply piping.
One year after installation, a follow-up survey was conducted under the same conditions as before installation, and the red rust blockage rates for Rooms A and B were as follows:

From the above reduction improvement rates of red rust blockage, it was demonstrated that the NMR pipe protector completely prevented the occurrence of new red rust and that the red rust blockage transformed into black rust with a volume reduction of 1/10. Furthermore, it was proven that as long as this condominium remains standing for another 20 or 30 years, pipe replacement will not be necessary.
